Which gpu is best?
🛠️ The Ultimate GPU Guide: Picking the Best Graphics Card for Your PC Build Choosing the best Graphics Processing Unit (GPU) for your PC build is one of the most critical decisions you’ll make, as it dictates your system’s performance, especially for gaming, content creation, and AI workloads. The market is currently dominated by NVIDIA GeForce RTX (50-series) and AMD Radeon RX (9000-series), with strong budget offerings from Intel Arc (B-series).
Here is a breakdown of the top contenders across different budget and resolution tiers, focusing on the latest generation of cards.
High-End/Enthusiast (4K and Beyond) These cards are for the uncompromising gamer or professional creator who demands the highest possible frame rates and maxed-out settings, including intensive Ray Tracing (RT) workloads.
GPU Recommendation Use Case Key Features NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5090 Ultimate 4K/8K gaming, professional creation, and AI training. Unmatched raw performance, 32GB GDDR7 VRAM, superior Ray Tracing and DLSS 4/Multi-Frame Generation.
NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5080 Excellent 4K gaming and high-end creative work. Very strong 4K performance, 16GB GDDR7, powerful DLSS 4 implementation. AMD Radeon RX 9070 XT The best 4K value card for pure rasterization gaming. Excellent performance for the price, 16GB VRAM, RDNA 4 architecture with improved RT and FSR 4.
For the ultimate performance and the most robust ecosystem for AI and creation, the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5090 is the undisputed champion. However, the AMD Radeon RX 9070 XT is consistently cited as the best value card for most 4K gamers, often outperforming its direct competition, the RTX 5070 Ti, in raw performance at a lower price.
Mid range
Mid-Range Powerhouses (1440p Dominance) The 1440p (2560×1440) resolution is the current sweet spot for many gamers, balancing stunning visuals with high refresh rates (144Hz and above) without the extreme cost of a flagship GPU.
AMD Radeon RX 9070 XT: While listed above, its excellent price-to-performance ratio makes it a top-tier choice for maxed-out 1440p as well.
NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5070 Ti: A formidable competitor offering similar raw performance to the 9070 XT, but with the distinct advantage of NVIDIA’s superior Ray Tracing performance and the highly effective DLSS 4 and Multi-Frame Generation technologies.
The choice here often comes down to ecosystem: If you prioritize the absolute best features like advanced Ray Tracing and the mature DLSS upscaling technology, the RTX 5070 Ti is a fantastic option. If you prioritize raw performance-per-dollar, especially in games that don’t lean heavily on RT, the RX 9070 XT provides a compelling alternative.
BUDGET
Budget & Entry-Level (1080p Excellence) For gaming at the standard 1080p (1920×1080) resolution, you can achieve excellent, high-frame-rate performance without breaking the bank.
AMD Radeon RX 9060 XT (16GB): Currently seen as the best value GPU for 1080p and capable of handling light 1440p. It offers a generous 16GB of VRAM, which future-proofs it against increasingly demanding modern game texture requirements.
NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5060: A very competitive choice, especially the base 8GB model, which is often found at a lower price. It offers strong 1080p performance and excellent efficiency, along with access to DLSS and decent entry-level Ray Tracing.
Intel Arc B580: The strongest budget contender in terms of raw specs, offering a massive 12GB of VRAM and excellent 1440p performance for its price. Intel’s drivers and software ecosystem have seen massive improvements, making it a viable and attractive budget option with support for their XeSS upscaling technology.
Key Factors Beyond Raw FPS Raw frame rates don’t tell the whole story. When making your final decision, consider these factors:
Resolution and Refresh Rate:
1080p: Mid-range cards like the RTX 5060 or RX 9060 XT are perfect.
1440p: Aim for the RTX 5070 Ti or RX 9070 XT class.
4K: You will need the very high-end like the RTX 5080 or RTX 5090 for a smooth, high-FPS experience.
Upscaling Technology: This is a crucial feature that lets you run a game at a lower internal resolution and use AI or smart algorithms to upscale the image to your monitor’s resolution, dramatically increasing frame rates.
NVIDIA: DLSS (Deep Learning Super Sampling) is generally considered the most mature and offers the best image quality, especially with its newest versions and Multi-Frame Generation.
AMD: FSR (FidelityFX Super Resolution) is open-source and works on almost any modern GPU, making it highly accessible. The latest FSR 4 offers significant image quality improvements.
Ray Tracing (RT) Performance: This technology provides incredibly realistic lighting, shadows, and reflections. NVIDIA GPUs have consistently held a significant performance lead in Ray Tracing due to their dedicated RT cores. If maxed-out RT is a priority, NVIDIA is the clear choice.
VRAM (Video Memory): Modern games, especially at 1440p and 4K, are increasingly VRAM-hungry. We recommend:
1080p: Minimum 8GB, preferably 12GB+.
1440p: 12GB is a comfortable minimum, 16GB is ideal.
4K: 16GB+ is highly recommended.
The best GPU for your PC build ultimately depends on your budget and your target resolution. For most people seeking the best balance of performance and price for 1440p, the AMD Radeon RX 9070 XT is the strongest all-around contender, while the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5070 Ti is the best option if you value cutting-edge features like Ray Tracing and DLSS.

PUBG:patch update 40.1

World: Erangel
The extreme cold has passed, but traces of Erangel: Subzero remain across the map.
Spawn Changes
Erangel: Subzero-specific items and features have been removed.
All-In-One Repair Kit, Emergency Cover Flare, and Jammer Pack now spawn in Secret Rooms.
The Red Zone and ferries have returned.

Destructible Gas Tanks have been added.

Improved the interior lighting of buildings across the map.
Erangel returns to its familiar form after two months of abnormal weather. This seasonal change gave us valuable insight into how shifts in a map’s environment can affect combat flow and overall gameplay.
Gunplay
Update 40.1 introduces balance adjustments to some DMRs.

Mk12
Damage: 44 → 43
Horizontal recoil increased by approximately 8%.
SLR
Horizontal recoil decreased by approximately 4%.
This update includes balance adjustments to two DMRs: the Mk12 and the SLR. The Mk12 has been showing an excessively high usage rate compared to other DMRs in Ranked, so we have adjusted its damage and recoil to help ease weapon selection bias in the Ranked environment. At the same time, we have slightly improved the effectiveness of the SLR, which uses 7.62mm ammunition. Through these changes, we aim to broaden weapon choices and encourage a wider range of combat scenarios.
UX/UI
We’ve added and improved various UI elements to help players better track information during combat.

When you pull out or switch a Throwable using a hotkey, a list of your available Throwables and their quantities is displayed in the bottom right of the screen.
Up to six types of Throwables are shown, including the currently equipped one.
Throwables stored in the Tactical Pack are not included in the display.
The inventory list is shown only for a short duration.
Not available in Spectator, Replay, or Observer Modes.
Blue Zone Alert UI Improvements
Minimap UI and visual effects have been refined to make Blue Zone progression easier to track.
New visual cues now signal 1 minute, 30 seconds, and 10 seconds remaining before Play Area restriction.
UI elements and visual effects indicating the start of Play Area restriction have been enhanced.
New visual effects have been added to indicate phase changes.
